Lehigh Valley Au Pairs — PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE IN RULES AND INSURANCE COVERAGE REGARDING:  SKIING and Snowboarding!!   (Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding)

Here is the Au Pair Travel Insurance Update:    Erika Insurance has excluded all downhill skiing, including off-piste (back-country skiing in a sparsely inhabited rural region over non-groomed and unmarked slopes or pistes) under the illness and accident section of the policy.   

We have several Ski Areas near us — but know that Skiing (and I believe Snowboarding as well) have been banned from an Au Pair’s activities.    On a positive note, not all skiing is excluded: cross-country skiing is still covered.     There IS the opportunity to purchase a Sports Supplement for your Insurance Coverage.   Please click on the following link for more information.  Link re Details of the Sports Supplement.
